Anne Rutherford is a lecturer in Cinema Studies at University of Western Sydney. Her publications include essays and interviews in Third Text; UTS Review; Senses Of Cinema; Asian Cinema; Screening The Past; Independent Film And Video Monthly; Metro; and in Art And The Performance Of Memory: Sounds And Gestures Of Recollection (Routledge); Seoul Searching: Culture And Identity In Contemporary Korean Cinema (SUNY Press); and Framer Framed: Film Scripts And Interviews with Trinh T. Minh-ha (Routledge). She has also made several short films.
