Jan-Christopher Horak: Director, UCLA Film & Television Archive, and Professor, UCLA. Previously, Curator, Hollywood Entertainment Museum, Founding Director, Archives Universal Studios. Director, Munich Filmmuseum, Senior Curator at George Eastman House Film Dept.. He has taught at Universities of Rochester, Munich, Salzburg, and the Munich Film Academy. Published books include Making images move (1997), Berge, licht und traum (1997), Lovers of cinema (1995), The dream merchants (1989), over 250 articles and reviews. Founding editor, The moving image. Journal of the Association of Moving Image Archivists.
