Winston, Brian - Author Biography

Brian Winston worked in the 1960s on the earliest years of Granada TV's World in action in the UK and won a US Emmy for documentary script writing in 1985. His Claiming the real: the documentary tradition revisited (London: BFI, 1995) has just been reprinted. Winston is Head of the School of Communication, Design and Media at the University of Westminster in London.
