Brown, Gene - Author Biography

Gene Brown is the editor of The New York times encyclopedia of film (1984), and author of Movie time: a chronicle of Hollywood and the movie industry from its beginnings to the present (1995), and Show time: a chronology of Broadway and the theatre from its beginnings to the present (1997). He has also written biographies of Bette Davis and Duke Ellington for young people.
