Willems, Gilles - Author Biography

Trained as a historian, Gilles Willems won the 1993 Prix Jean Mitry for his Master's thesis on three 1930s pacifist films. His doctoral work on the Pathe-Natan firm has definitively changed French film history's view of Bernard Natan. Recently he has become a father.
